Reporting an Absence
If your child is not going to attend the kindergarten program on a particular day, please advise us of this (see protocol below). This provides confirmation of children’s whereabouts as we do anticipate their arrival in the program throughout the session. It also greatly assists staff with preparation and planning.
Please communicate absences as follows:
- Up-to the day prior to the absence, please email us on civic.kin@kindergarten.vic.gov.au with details of the pending absence.
- One the day of the absence;
please ONLY call or text on 0403 097 244 prior to 9am. Please note, not all staff have access or monitor the kindergarten emails after 9am as the teachers are in session.
